Pros
Social committee introduced due to the high staff turnover in the past few years which means we got themed drinks, unfortunately the same seven people go to these so quite a redudant use of resource. Also, none of the social committee turn up so quite ironic.
Cons
My job was completely mis-advertised, constant reporting and deadlines meant very little time for anything else. Senior staff are incredibly work-focussed and they dont care let alone have time for any problems outside of the office, for example I had to tell a junior that they couldn't work from home for one day... The CFO works all hours relentlessly and this message is encouraged throughout the team in order to meet unreasonable deadlines. It's a constant battle to please the Head Office in any way. Really unhealthy work/life balance and staff are treated and spoken to appallingly. HR are junior and give poor advice and understaffed. The "CEO" is never around and has made no effort since joining to speak to Senior Members of staff or motivate them, she doesn't agree to company protocol and is very clearly prioritising her own business rather than Studiocanals.
