      Great coworkers, but strange policy for employees

      Pros

      Family meal provided. Other servers and folks in the kitchen were great to work with.

      Cons

      If you are an employee, you are not allowed to eat there, as a regular customer (I was told this was a company wide policy), which is really strange to me. Also had to provide my own uniform (all black).

      Good Company, but working out some kinks

      Pros

      -you get to actually have an impact. If you see a process that isn’t working, you can actually change it and implement it pretty quickly. -dependent on the team, but I was very lucky to have a great team and a manager that let me work in a way that was best for me -great opportunities for bonus/commission -a lot of opportunity to take ownership over tasks outside of your role (if you want), and you get recognized for it

      Cons

      -there is a lot of policy change currently happening that is a bit antiquated (not allowed to post pronouns, no tattoos, no piercings, etc) -they initially were very big on work life balance, there is a definite shift going in the “hustle culture” direction. (Example: there are mandatory weekend shifts for all managers, regardless of department) -some unrealistic expectations in terms of implementing new processes. Implementing quickly is great, but there still needs to be a clear plan. Definitely a lot of messiness on this front.

      Pros

      There are no pros other than the high salary they offer to lure in those who would normally not be interested.

      Cons

      Poorly managed They can not for the life of them get a Hotel General Manager in there, and that will ultimately be their downfall.
