Pros

The friends can be incredible, if you take the time to build those relationships.

Cons

Where do I start. 1. Management - The comments below do an excellent job at portraying reality. The CEO is completely absent, aloof, and mindless. Even though her intentions as a person might not be bad, she is no position to be leading a company, espectolly one of this size. Her best and CMO, is completely oblivious to the day to day operations of the company. Her fake sweet smiles and giggles are only a facade. Behind closed doors is where she makes decisions that will make or break the people who glue the company together. She is a deceiving liar, manipulator, and has ill intentions for those closest to her. 2. Employees are not seen as human- challenging employees is a good thing, but not to the point where their mental and physical health is suffering. Employees are constantly working overnight, and are held to impossible expectations, with little to no credit given by management. Work life balance doesn’t exist. Money is more important than employee heath and happiness. 3. Negative environment: company culture is absolutely shot. There’s no sense of team, and nothing is done to boost morale. Management is oblivious to how bad things are, and don’t care until their bottom line begins to be affected.

Thank you for your feedback, and it is unfortunate to hear that your experience at StyleHaul was not what you expected. The management team at StyleHaul tries each day to not only manage the continued growth of the business, but also listen and be sensitive to the concerns of our growing staff. While we understand that we aren't always perfect, at no time does the management team make decisions that are not in the best interest of the company as a whole, or without an eye to how it will affect company culture. Each management team member advocates for their teams, and works to create an environment of collaboration across divisions and employees. If that was not your experience, we apologize for this, as all the executive team strives to create an optimistic and cheerful workplace where many individuals have been promoted internally through the ranks. This is not fake, or with any manipulation. In terms of work life balance, this is a subject we take very seriously. We have rolled out many wellness initiatives over the past year and recently instituted an unlimited vacation policy to address the fact that at times our business works on unconventional working schedules. We are always open to having an honest dialogue with employees if they feel like their work-life-balance is not being respected. We understand company culture is something we need to continuously work on. We are investing more into group activities as a company, and are committed to continuing internal communication programs that connect our global company even more than we are currently. StyleHaul remains committed to the pursuit of a positive environment.

Pros

I met a handful or really great people here, people I will be "work friends" with for years to come - I'm glad they're in my professional network. I learned a lot from them and I was also fortunate to have a pretty good boss. If you do decide to join StyleHaul (which I don't recommend - see below) make sure you don't make a lateral move but get a title bump out of it. They pay fairly well, but be skeptical of any bonus they say they will pay you.

Cons

Culture - The best way to describe StyleHaul is it's like Melrose Place (TV show) - the CEO and CMO have been best friends since jr. high, and the CMO and CFO are dating. They create a very unsupportive (and sometimes hostile) culture and always have secret side projects going on that undermine what you and your team are working on. At the end of the day this business is just not moving forward. The influencer space is so over saturated and they have really poor contracts with their influencers and they're not recruiting top influencers and they are losing top influencers. They are trying to pivot into a data company however they don't own any of the data, they are hacking into sources to get it so it could all come tumbling down any minute. C-suite will often set the entire office into a frenzy when they are getting pressure from their parent company - RTL. Every few weeks you'll be treated like a grade schooler and be yelled at and demand that you are in your seat working my 9am, meanwhile the CEO waltzes in the call center like office once or twice every other week and doesn't talk to anyone except a few choice people (and throws major shade at most of the office). Anyone who tries to push things forward will eventually get pushed out. Yes, there is free food, but honestly you should never take a job for the free food, it's not worth it.

Moving towards a data-driven culture

Pros

I am fortunate enough that StyleHaul is starting to orient itself towards a culture that caters towards using data to inform its decisions. This is the way of the future and not many other companies are ready for it. That and my coworkers are pretty great.

Cons

Like many other companies I have worked at, you get what you put in. Things won't move if you don't move and be passionate about what you do. I see too many people fall into complacency and lose their drive, but then blame others for their faults.
