CURRENT WAREHOUSE WORKER... You can learn many, many things in a supportive environment. From being a part of a traveling crew (going to comic conventions) to working in a warehouse. A small sample of the warehouse side.. handle restocking convention inventory, filling orders through multiple online sales portals and receiving/processing new items. The ideal employee would be an "optimistic pop culture enthusiast". WARNING: Negative people do not do well in this environment (see other reviews). It is absolutely necessary to be open minded and flexible. This place can be a lot of fun if you allow youself to enjoy it. If your weak and a generally miserable person it can be your "nemesis".
Cons
The owner tends to procrastinate and weekends are sometimes victim to it.

-You get to travel to different locales in the U.S. and Canada -Develop lasting relationships with your coworkers -Low cost housing assistance (When you're not traveling and working in their warehouse) -Travel accommodations are paid for
Cons
-Wages are not competitive -Frequently understaffed -Unreasonable break times (The times we do get breaks) -Minimum 10hr days with the "work 'til it's done mentality" (so most times longer) -No per diem for travel days -Most times you won't be flying to the city you will be working in so there are usually 2-3 days of travel with no pay -Travel accommodations are shared with 3 or more people per room -Managers are never on the same page, frequently in conflict with each other, giving conflicting orders, and manipulative -No realistic opportunities for advancement or career growth -Travel accommodations are often inconvenient -Employees are treated like they are expendable, easily replaceable, inexhaustible resource
