Pros

Most of my coworkers are really awesome. In general it's a good community of "front-line" employees.

Cons

Business is booming, seemingly busier than ever, yet we have no money for raises or necessary overtime. But we can put a $1,200+ new TV in the lunchroom and talk about getting a pinball machine or Foosball table. Bad/Lazy employees are kept on board while hardworking employees are overworked and under appreciated and eventually leave because they can't take the mounting frustration. Some positions (BOD analyst for example) have really awful schedules. No proactive approaches, everything is reactive to problems even when management knows about the problems.

Pros

None. Most unorganized company I ever worked for.

Cons

No proper training. No job definition. Terrible management. President talks badly of former employees (this is so immature and wrong). He believes "all employees are replaceable". I really do not know how the owner accepts this man as a President of his company. He acts like he cares but it's all about the money. So glad I left.

Pros

The hours are very flexible, you can pretty much make up your own schedule. High turnover which means you can easily learn new methods/ instruments because management needs the gaps filled.

Cons

Upper management is absolutely terrible- they do not care about you. Lab was bought out in Feb 2020. With the large amount of money the investors have, you’d think they’d invest in their employees. They don’t. The benefits suck. No 401K matching. The pay is terrible! Good luck trying to get a raise. Hardly ever get any support from management. Overtime is pretty much expected. Every department is understaffed.
