- Low-quality management & leadership/ toxic work environment (rampant gossip/ slander between employees)
- Endless trivial reports to Chief Flight Instructor/ Management with no attempt from employees to address each other beforehand (i.e. fellow CFI notices you forgot to tie down airplane & immediately reports you for “failing to tie down airplane”)
- Unclear & unprofessional communication from leadership to employees & between employees
- Highly unclear expectations regarding instructor methods for flight training
- Micromanagement of employees (Chief Flight Instructor used Flight Aware to regularly “knit-pick” training methods)
- Exit interview was unprofessional and relied fully on inaccurate information as reasons for dismal
