Pros

Stepping stone to better opportunities. GMP Experience in the most challenging and stressful environment - All other pharma jobs will seem better/easier after working here. Working here means that it can only get better once you leave.

Cons

Too many to name. Toxic and stressful work environment. Below market rate pay. Mandatory overtime is frequent. COO "nano" manages the important aspects of the company. Often have to perform work tasks with less than adequate resources. Lack of investment into modern management systems keep internal processes slow and error-prone. Rewards for exceptional work are so paltry they are often insulting. Poor interdepartmental communication.

Fun coworkers. Interesting work. There is a lot of potential there at Summit. Most mid- managers are decent and will help you and develop your skills.

Cons

COO!!! He says inappropriate and confrontational things to people. Poor listener. No strategy, lack of planning, and weak leadership. Bad communication. Secretive upper management. Only feel good info shared with employees, nothing substantial. Space is overpacked. Equipment is crap. Technology outdated. Everything on paper and inefficient. Hours are long and schedules change a lot.

COO is not a good manager. Lacks transparency and makes promises that cannot be delivered. Low pay, basic benefits, and long hours.
