Pros
Summit has a very flexible culture, there is no dress code, you never get micromanaged, and they fill the fridge with Costco snacks.
Cons
Due to the pros listed, most of the people in the company don't work very hard. This includes the owners, who don't seem to communicate with each other, and the primary owners NEVER communicate with the sales team. Unless, of course, it is a random Wednesday reduction in force mass firing situation. Don't worry--if you aren't fired, they will give you free food the next day. Thanks for the pizza and taco bar! We are told routinely things like "90% of this job is showing up". But the owners don't show up! Only one guy in leadership works a full week. The rest of them rarely hit 10 hours per week in office. The CRM is such a mess. But they fired the only guy who knew how to fix it. The "family friend" is the common theme of this place. It is such a mess of friends and family. We end up with unqualified people in most departments because of their bloodline or willingness to spend time with the owners. They opened a new office that is pretty nice. But since the culture is so bad, most employees try to work from home as much as possible. So even though the space is nice, it really isn't enjoyable to spend a full work day there.
