Leadership is reliant on intimidation, gaslighting, and other forms of emotional abuse in response to perceived job performance issues. Also more than willing to cross personal/professional boundaries if they see any gain to it. They have a completely adversarial relationship with most of the lower-level employees and are in total denial about it. At an entry-level employee you will be invisible to them until you screw up, but as you get promoted and work more closely with leadership you will see how little respect and regard they have for their employees. Inappropriate rumors and bizarre office politics are the name of the game there.
Management also intentionally sabotages employee union by incentivizing employees to feed inaccurate or misleading information to the union. No dedicated HR staff, as anyone involved in that role also serves in a directorial position. They make many promises of employee protections through the union, but when it comes down to it, administration can do whatever they want to you if you get on their bad side, and no one is going to be there to back you up.
