Pros

Positive attitude about themselves,"We ARE Sun Title" often said with Pride. Some core values are great and they will act like they are important.

Cons

Lied about the offer. It turned out to be very different. But I needed a job so I stayed. Training is the worst I had ever experienced. Someone who didn't want me there was very bothered about training me. She also made me look over her shoulder to see her pc, No hands on training. When I complained twice, I was the one that was looked at badly. I got in trouble for following directions. Directions given by owners. Owners later said that myself and another employee, Both with Masters Degrees and prior experience "were not catching on fast enough" When I left I did that same job and received accolades and was promoted.

Culture issues create a negative environment

Pros

I can say with absolute certainty that if you choose to work at Sun Title, you’ll love the people on your team. The employees doing the work every day are incredible.

Cons

I absolutely loved working at Sun Title in the beginning.. I drank the kool-aid and bought into the “empowered people” line for a long time. Even when cracks started to show, I chose to overlook the red flags because I loved my coworkers and the environment our team created so much. Unfortunately over the last six months, the company’s overall internal culture has suffered greatly. At the core, employees are expected to obsess about the company and obsess about their work. This concept is pushed hard enough to create an unhealthy work-life balance and many of the company’s best employees have wound up feeling exploited and burnt out - hence why turnover has been so high in 2023. I have very high expectations for myself and everyone around me (and am okay if those are placed on me as well) but if I’m expected to put 110% into my job, I expect my boss to practice what they preach. At the bare minimum, I need mutual respect, trust, and the autonomy to do the job I was hired for.
