Pros

The products are good (albeit they have a lot of quality control issues) and you are trauma bonded with your co-workers so you at least have people to remind you you’re not insane, this company is just probably the worst beauty company to work for point blank period. Everyone who works here can commiserate.

Cons

You will be overworked and underpaid. Tons of bottlenecking from CEO who is a liar and an absent leader who also demands final say of every small detail even if she is unreachable for months. Incredibly toxic work environment with no structure — takes bullying to a whole new level. PLEASE KNOW that all of these good reviews are as fake as the Sephora reviews Sunday made employees write years ago, the average was 1 star until 2 years ago… I see they never learned their lesson. No one lasts more than a year here - no one I worked with when I joined was there when I left. This company is a horror show and should be exposed - the corruption runs so, so deep. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

I worked with some amazing female leaders.

Cons

It took me a while to decide to write this but I feel its my duty to warn others about this company. I saw the warnings on here before I accepted the role and ignored them thinking it was just a disgruntled employee but now I can say, believe them. Broken, toxic, abusive, disorganized, dysfunctional, anxious, and bizarre are just some of the words I can use to describe my experience at this company. Sunday being an absent "leader" creates chaos at all levels. There is zero overall direction because no one is in charge. There is no go-to market strategy because product road maps don't exist. The only culture that is exists is one of fear, abuse, lies, and gas lighting. I left after being ghosted by my boss for months. She never even responded when I resigned. That and being on the receiving end of a racist rant from one of the sales leaders was the straw that broke the camels back. No one should be subjected to the kind of turmoil happening at Sunday Riley. Also, this is a low energy move, but I would prob question the positive reviews on here. The company has a reputation for falsifying that information (google it) and I just want to make sure people know the truth.

Pros

The holiday parities were a ton of fun. Thats it!

Cons

This company, the entire corporate structure (if you can even call it that) is a complete disaster. If you see any positive reviews on here, trust and believe that the team was probably “encouraged” to share their “positive experiences” in efforts to salvage Sundays terrible reputation. Did Sunday pay their hourly employees during the pandemic? SURE- but that literally was smoke and mirrors to make people forget about the fraudulent sephora reviews (google it) There is only Sunday on top, then come two other insane individuals who help Sunday run things- but its chaos. Neither of them, including Sunday herself are qualified to do the job they are doing. They’re both so unworthy of their jobs and they know it so they dispose of any threat aka people are are smarter & have more experience. Sunday claims to be a chemist HOWEVER- shes not. (Google that too). You can find very little Info on her and anytime anyone asks her about her past, experience & starting the brand she changes the subject, quickly. The products while effective are often back ordered due to what they claim is small batch errors is actually Sunday letting things fall between the cracks because she doesn’t relinquish any responsibility to qualified people because she doesnt “trust anyone” it’s actually because shes hiding a lot, and I mean a lot of secrets. Everyone is in fear of their job so they dont speak up. They have unqualified people doing jobs just because they’re pretty. No bonuses No 401k match Watch your w-2 and other withholdings if you work remote, because they often mess that up. After you quit if you decide to share your experience they will bully you to stop. Unrealistic working hours No goals Missed deadlines by the ceo & then everyone is rushed to clean up her mess
