Pros

WFH options, monthly workout perks, friendly coworkers, aesthetic and great products

Cons

Very poor upper management, especially the founders and directors. Poor communication across departments, no transparency in any decisions made my management, zero respect to employees basically treat them like they are disposable, wages are low with no room for discussions

Pros

As of March 2023, there is absolutely nothing good to say about this company. New management took over and the company is going downhill. They fired 80% of the department and have no idea what they are doing. They are forcing the rest of the staff to work overtime without compensation and forcing employees to sign a new contract. This used to be an amazing place to work, with a supportive team, career development and a positive culture. It’s sad to see this place turn into a prison.

Cons

1. Lack of communication. Over the past year, they have been firing employees without cause and not communicating anything to the team. Major red flag. 2. We are all 100% capable of working from home. It’s 3 days WFH and 2 days in the office. If you happen to catch a cold or Covid, but you are able to work from home, they will force you to take the day off and deduct from your sick days. If you run out of sick days they will take it from your paycheque. As a result, employees have been coming to the office sick and spreading germs. 3. The office is in an awkward location and not transit accessible. You will have to walk 20 minutes from a bus or skytrain if you don’t have a vehicle. 4. They will refuse to pay you a living wage, even with seniority. 5. No transparency within the company. 6. Many talented employees in the customer care department will take on additional tasks to assist the Product Team, Marketing Team and E-Commerce. Sundays takes advantage of this and does not provide any compensation for this additional work. 8. The products are extremely overpriced, made in China, and have many flaws. 9. They made a terrible decision to lay off the best talent in the department. They chose to let go of the employees who are not afraid to voice their opinion.
