Pros

You do get to explore and travel to some very unique and fun locations, all of them surrounded by water and in scenic areas. Some of the marine staff are down to earth good people.

Cons

Lots of inner company politics. The higher management cannot seem to work as a team and focus on resolving projects of focusing on correcting issues. They are also extremely defensive if approached, or if an action or idea goes against their own. Pay is rather poor for middle management staff. IT work extremely long hours with little to no chances to balance work/life.

Beware of this company very, very low retention rates at Suntex service center marinas.

Low level employees deserve much better.

Cons

Very, very low retention rates at Suntex service center marinas. Went thru two GM's and two regional managers in less than one year. No consistent management in Ft.Worth. Employees bear burden of cost of operations. Service Mangers are required to obtain personal credit cards to fund company's business.
