Pros

Suntiva employs some of the best and brightest consultants around. However, it's the passion that the consultants have for the profession that truly stands out. Suntiva offers benefits that rival a very large firm. Salary is on par. Suntiva encourages consultants to continue to grow skills.

Cons

Suntiva does not have a "Suntiva-way" of doing business. Many projects are one-offs. Suntiva is not getting the absolute best out of its consultants due to its lack of structure.

We do have people who truly exemplify Great minds, Great hearts! Our plans around information sharing, standardization, and engaging the workforce in new ways of doing things are beginning to come to fruition. SharePoint, as a tool, is forcing the collaboration across the company as we select best practices and approaches. In addition, our focus on CMMI - level 3 - will drive much in the way of standard business practices. We've also stood up the PMO in the HBU and plan to roll that into other BU's. Flexibility in both telework and in work projects. Really like company culture and friendly environment. Employees feel valued and part of the overall team and are given appropriate feedback from management and clients.

Cons

No negatives to report to date.

Challenging, integrative projects in a collaborative environment

- Challenging, integrative projects where I can apply my experience and creativity, as well as learn from others. True collaboration is highly valued. - My manager genuinely wants me to happy at Suntiva and with my work here. He talks to me about what is next for my career, which I appreciate. - Good balance between getting the work done and having fun getting the work done, which is refreshing coming from a larger company where this was not the case. - HR is very strong and supportive to employees.

Cons

- If you are not a self-starter, Suntiva may not be the right fit for you. - There are expectations that employees truly believe in the values of the company. I see this as very positive, but if you don't agree with the values, you might find that it is not the right place for you either.

It is great to hear that you find project work rewarding and that you and your manager are aligned around current work and where you would like to take your career. As it relates to corporate level communications, it is clear there is work to be done. We've been targeting communications at leadership meetings to ensure we have a plan for communicating key information back to the entire company.
