Pros

Located next to Sunway Pyramid

Cons

Controlled by same group of abusive, highly unethical, unqualified, ignorant, and self-centered people who abuses staffs and Whatsapp. Staff turnover is record high and ranges from weeks to months which HR is well aware of but turns a blind eye. Staffs are made to work on tasks outside their job description & unrelated to staffs’ specialization; and constantly pressured to work overtime 24/7 (including public holidays, annual leaves & sick leaves). Management practices preferential treatment and evaluates staffs’ performance solely based on what the favourites say without logic. Management immediately asks ‘What should we do’ and throws staffs under the bus when there are issues, then take credit after. Management also needs constant babysitting on every item (e.g. including reading and drafting their emails & messages) and uses staffs’ ideas as their own. Management uses staffs’ names to acquire company assets for management’s own use and recycles other ex-staffs’ items for current staffs to work with as if ex staffs are still with the company, without the knowledge of others.

Pros

I don’t think there’s any pros based on the comments written. They had no choice but to type something in due to glassdoor requirements 😅

Cons

Sunway money review I would like to share my experience during my interview with the management about a year plus ago. This interview is a memory forever etched in my mind, not for ifs brilliance, but for the unparalleled mastery of unprofessionalism. My interview was delayed more than 3 times but that’s not the gist of the story, it was the content of interview. The management asked me this one simple question Management: What would you do if you encounter a problem that you can’t fix or solve and the deadline is very near Me: I would browse through the internet first looking for some related topics in forum or community and perform trial and error Management: What if there’s no internet? Me: Then the best solution would be consulting seniors and leads, together we can discuss and find a solution considering the deadline is near, this approach may be the fastest. Management: What if seniors and leads have no time for you? Me: Then I could try asking around my developer friends and seniors outside to seek for advice Management: What if there’s no one have time to help you and cannot use the internet Me: At this moment, I had lost my patience and I can feel that this company must be practicing some toxic culture. Therefore, I just go with “If the deadline is near, and I really have an problem that I’m not able to fix on my own, requesting for a extension is also possible but it’s just a temporary solution as the real issue is I need help to solve the problem. What do you mean by I cannot use the internet and seniors / leads have no time for me? So you don’t plan to deliver the product already is it? Cannot work together? No time?” The management didn’t reply to my question and the interview is ended. I had rejected them and continue interview with other company before they rejected me. Now I’m in a better place with good culture, competitive salary, flexible working hours. I guess I should thanks the maneagement for asking those questions then haha

Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues Stepping stone in learning some of the tech

Cons

- No work life balance. During office hours it's your duty. Beyond that it's your initiative. You get punish if you did not do the initiative. - No accountability in middle management side. Lot of taichi experts who works there will pass the buck - Politics is brutal. You either play briliantly or you are casualty.
