Pros

Have you ever walked into a job and felt the happiness and life just drain from you. That's Sunwest Bank in its current form. Pros. We are hiring. At least for some of the jobs that have been vacated.

Cons

Cons. We are hiring. If you're not a very specific type of person good luck... being from an influential family helps. Benefits are deplorable. Management is in constant flux. COO needs some maturing.

Pros

Coming up with 20 words to describe the bank positively is challenging. The people made it great and those with Banking knowledge have essentially all left.

Cons

Communication to the staff is so important and there's an ever growing disconnect. Is the bank being prepped to be sold? Everyone is stretched beyond capacity and is afraid to ask for help. Vital roles aren't 'valued' enough to be replaced.

Pros

I work in one of our satellite offices and don't experience any of the benefits described by other reviewers. Love that there is a hiring committee and a fun committee to add a cultural buy in for all. That's the only reason to give the one star.

Cons

We are always left to fend for ourselves on any cultural matters and there's little to no effort to be inclusive of all locations. Our technology versus corporate technology is a joke. All of our corporate team would quit in days if they had to work in Citrix 24/7. There's a struggle with turnover at the corporate office and it impacts the outlying locations more than our executive team will ever admit. There is also an overwhelming feeling in all of the outlying locations of when the corporate office will close us down. It's truly just a matter of time.
