If you’re considering working at SuperBam, dont. This company is a dumpster fire from the top down, and leadership is the biggest problem.
First, the C-suite is completely out of touch. They lack basic people management skills, fail to communicate transparently, and constantly shift blame for their poor decisions onto others.
The CEO is a mess. He throws out unrealistic ideas and goals just to sound impressive, but in reality, he has no grasp of the company’s operations. He claims he wants to help, yet he remains clueless about what’s actually happening. He also only hires his friends, which only makes matters worse because they follow his marching orders.
The CFO has terrible communication skills and is extremely rude. Instead of addressing this, the company excuses his behavior under the guise of “Australian humor.”
Everyone at the company will be nice at first but there is a very clear divide on who proactively does work and who doesn't.
There’s no clear direction or growth, no accountability, and no real support for employees. Middle management is overworked. If something goes wrong leadership will find a way to pin it on you.
They love to preach a “collaborative” and “innovative” culture, but the reality is a toxic, demoralizing workplace where employees are overworked, underappreciated, and constantly frustrated. Favoritism runs rampant, and if you’re not the CEO's friend, good luck getting your voice heard. They also just HATE brutally honest people and want fake optimism that feed into delusions.
Needless to say, RUN and don't look back.
