Not a good place to work

Pros

Peers are great, but that's about it.

Cons

Leadership: Lots of blind spots here. There's been turnover, however throwing money at the problem isn't going to address the underlying cultural issues. Work / Life Balance: There is none. You will work overtime, you will work weekends. It's expected. They can't fill open roles, and you have to wonder why.

Pros

The colleagues you work with are the best part of TSG. Employer Sponsored Healthcare which is a rarity (the benefits aren’t the best, but they aren’t the worst). Lots of variety in the work you do therefore, it’s not mundane work. You have the ability to be a part of the growth of the communities in which you live and work.

Cons

Work / Life Balance: This is an area that needs improvement - some departments have great work/life balance and others have none. You will work additional time and you will work weekends without compensation if you’re a salaried employee - it’s expected - in order to meet deadlines. There are no SOPs, there are no onboarding standards - you truly teach yourself and ask others for assistance who are mostly in the same boat. There is no guidance on growth and development yet they are supportive of growth and development. You can meet guidelines they set (not shared, just inferred) but still not be promotable - huge oxymoron here. There is no collaboration among Operations and Finance - this is not for the lack of trying on the Operations side. You can bust your butt and take on additional roles and responsibilities and not be compensated or appreciated. Others do bare minimum and are still employed and make the same if not more money than their peers who do.
