Don't expect to paid commission if you were told you would get it as part of your package. They are currently withholding that from approx 30 employees. You will not get your PTO if you leave. Tyrannical and mercurial are used best to describe the environment. What a joke. You will be micromanaged and criticized all day, everyday.

I’ve searched for the words to write this review for days. I want to convey that I’m not just some disgruntled employee. There’s a pervasive culture of tattling on your coworkers to make yourself look better. Instead of uplifting each other, Surge employees bring each other down. It’s bizarre and unproductive. The owner has a hot temper and frequently berates employees in the office chat. When I showed my mother pictures of the owner’s comments, she said that she hasn’t seen anything this unprofessional in over thirty years of working in HR. Not kidding. The owner is infamous for calling employees, cussing them out, and threatening to fire them. It’s pretty much an inevitability. If you work here, you’ll receive a nasty call from the owner. Take your talents elsewhere.
