Pros

- amazing, considerate coworkers who will try and make the best out of difficult situations. - you get free leftover doughnuts on Tuesdays.

Cons

Regarding the Design Studio…. -Unprofessional, inept, rude behavior from management who has a tendency to be petty and mean. -Leadership style fluctuates between micromanaging and clear favoritism. -given an unrealistic number of jobs to complete in an incredibly small-time frame and reprimanded for not completing it in said time. - If a mistake is made they belittle and bully you in front of peers. But is still never given clear direction. An endless cycle. - Constant bullying and bottom line make you feel uncomfortable by their nasty remarks that they have no shame in sharing with the entire office. - Management likes to claim other designers ideas as their own. No room for collaboration, advice is frowned upon. They are accustomed to keep everyone like robots and although they state that suggestions are encouraged, they really aren't. I have never seen a design studio ran like this. -Management likes to horde off their workload on to the rest of designers without notice or consideration of their own workload. - No room for professional growth there will always be given confusing, inconsistent direction with changes to design, along with a very unsupportive attitude. - Stressful, dispiriting, and hostile work environment and under constant scrutiny. People are usually forced to quit because of how poorly management handles things. - Position was threated countless times because of unrealistic expectations but was never actually given a valid reason as to what was being done wrong. -spoke to HR and hire ups multiple times about concerns regarding my departments' management and nothing was ever done in an attempt to change their behavior when issues were brought up.

Pros

- Some coworkers were friendly and helpful - Basic healthcare plan is paid by employer (not sure if this is still happening) - After years of not having a break area one was built last year but agents put their kids in it to watch tv -IT department is dependable - Newish computers and software

Cons

- Poor treatment of some employees by a senior staff member in the marketing department, when reported several times nothing was done to correct the problems. The employee was continually promoted and rewarded for poor behavior. This actually happens in other departments as well. - Bullying of employees is not addressed properly or at all. When reports are made of coworkers leaving to cry in the bathroom over being reprimanded in front of the entire marketing staff nothing is done. - Turns a blind eye to problems and doesn't actually fix them. Comes up with solutions but does not act on them. You are given hope that things will change but they never due so the cycle continues and worsens. - Over worked and underpaid. The daily expectations for workload for outweighs the pay of the marketing department as a whole. The pay is drastically under what graphic designers and production artists should be making according to salary reports by The Creative Group and other companies. If you want to make $14/hour this is the place for you. -Yearly bonuses/profit sharing go down every year of employment while the company runs advertisements about being a 2.5 billion dollar company each year. The bonuses are determined by an employee who does not know or understand everyone's job role, duties, work load, and other demands of their positions. - Promotions seem to happen only for people who treat others poorly, don't show up to work consistently, pawn their work off on to others and have zero knowledge of what they are doing.
