Pros

At present, the cons so significantly outweigh the good times that I'm not able to honestly reflect on them in any way other than the CTO manipulating me into believing I was happy, even when my body and mind told me I wasn’t. My loyalty to the CTO limited me from recognizing how truly unhappy I was. And I was so unhappy, so stressed, and in such a breakdown, that one time, while at coffee with CTO , I collapsed onto the ground outside a cafe and my husband had to leave work to come pick me up. He then helped get me the medical attention I needed for the stress and anxiety that was manifesting in physical symptoms. That’s how stressful and physically demanding the work environment was.

Cons

During a Private Party in early 2020, the CTO punched me in my pelvic region. When I confronted him saying, “you just punched me in my [pelvic region],” he denied it and continued to physically assault me (while asking me why I’m so beautiful), as I forcibly pulled myself away. In the three weeks that followed this incident, I fell apart both mentally and physically. I was told by the Management that a business decision needed to be made in order to retain the the CTO. Management even asked me not to involve HR in the matter, stating it would be an indicator that I didn’t trust her to handle the harassment issue at hand. I felt fortunate that I was comfortable enough to reflect that request back to him, and tell him how inappropriate it was. This left me feeling abandoned and unprotected by my Management. I felt ostracized and alone at a depth I’d never felt before. It took me about 5 months to truly reconcile that I saw all this coming; I saw it happen to other women . During my workplace investigation, it was revealed to me that in the same conversation. Early in my tenure, Management even asked me to spend time drinking with the CTO, stating that it was a good way to bond with him. In Oct/Nov 2019,, I’d reported physical assault of my CTO kissing me at event. When I told the Management about it, They said, “I’ll talk to [the CTO ].” As later confirmed by the Management, there was no written warning and no addition of a sexual harassment policy (at the time, SSFB, a 15-year old Bank, had no sexual harassment policy). They’ve since added a sexual harassment policy, and the Management claims it’s a “zero tolerance policy,” which I find surprising, because I’m gone, and the CTO still remains at the Bank. And it’s the CTO who’s repetitively kissing women without consent, and touching female employee’s private parts. But if you ask the Management, They’ll tell you it’s a “zero tolerance policy.” I truly cannot recommend that anyone work here.

Pros

A Bank has a lot of potential and cool products. Some management changes in last few years have changed the moral and environment. Not sure of the future

Cons

There is nothing good in this Bank to talk about. The Bank itself is a zoo with one man circus. CTO is a big fraud and will torture people like anything. He don’t even have little mercy over employees but, will feel about himself as a good human being which is laughing thing. This is the worst work environment/job culture. Don't be fooled by the salary and fancy title - it's not worth it. When the CTO is in a bad mood He will blame everything on you. There is absolutely no structure and it's basically whatever the CTO want for that minute. For example, in our daily huddle the CTO will say he wants us to do ABC. We will suggest to do XYZ instead because it aligns better with the Management objective. But he will insist we do ABC because it's better for him. We will work on ABC throughout the day, then at 3PM he will call to say you're doing everything wrong and you need to get XYZ done before the end of the day. This happens regularly with everyone. Everything is worst in this Bank. You will ruin your life if you join here in IT Department. Do not make your self animal by getting in to this circus show. This is a circus show of a man called CTO. Never seen such a worst guy in my life.

Pros

Good infrastructure and Employees are nice to each other. you can spend your entire career here if you wish

Cons

Since my joining, CTO had been treating me with utmost disrespect and was making continuous, personal, derogatory, undignified remarks. Finally I was left with no option but to give a formal written complain to the HR regarding his behavior. To my surprise instead of taking any concrete action on my complaint, next day management detained me in the meeting room for hours, forcing me to take my complain back. As I refused to do so I was asked to resign forcefully. I was surprised and shocked by the managements behavior. Few weeks later similar incident happened with my friend who was working in Application Team. The CTO of this Bank is worse than the lowest people of society such as criminals, drug mafia, prostitutes and pimps. Those elements of society do wrong things due to lack of money, lack of education or lack of family values. But this Fellow have all the good things that life has to offer - good money, good education and good families. Still He does all the wrong things just to satisfy his stupid little egos while his entire vertical is watching him. So yes, He is actually worse than prostitutes and pimps. CTO threatening very badly to employees and cheating to Bank. He is earning a lot of money from Vendors by doing Corruption. Overall very unprofessional, money minded and short sighted CTO who believes in only making money by doing fraud. I will not recommend any self respected Women to join this Bank.
