Pros

good pay, most nurses are so nice, focus is on the patient's experience, kindness of staff.

Cons

Per diems there who have been there for a long time work full-time days, while status nurses who need desperately to get off nights, get dinged and treated badly by dayshift...also certain doctors have way too much pull and you aren't protected by a union...

Nice place. Very clean and organized. Delicious food and cafeteria. Lovely environment.

Cons

It is all a bunch of cliques and groups of people that either like you or don't. It is like high school. You get picked on and discriminated against if you are different.

Pros

Team work is a must, thus you will never be left alone to beat deadlines. If you make mistakes, they take action in training you rather than reprimanding you, which makes working conditions pleasant to work in. The managers are fair with everyone, and you can tell because everyone is always smiling.

Cons

Because it is a hospital you may have to work on some holidays, but that is obviously expected when working for any Hospital.
