Pros

- Product is remotely competitive in the space. - Work life balance.

Cons

- Extremely high turnover, especially with the senior level positions. - HR seems to bring about more drama than diffuse -No on-boarding whatsoever. You literally have to teach yourself everything from start to finish - A difficult product to sell in the market with little new business coming in year after year - Marketing lacks innovation and creativity; constantly looking at competition in order to figure out what to do next. -Poor culture; Constant department vs department blame game with executives never taking accountability and pointing fingers at one another. - Everyone is leaving. Really talented individuals are either being pushed out because of poor executive leadership or because they realize this entire headache is not worth their time nor energy

Honestly, Just Work Somewhere Else

Pros

There were some very smart people working there who genuinely want to see colleagues excel. Unfortunately, management doesn't share this sentiment.

Cons

Swrve prides itself on being a madmen-esque start-up above all else. There was no transparency on what is expected of their employees, no onboarding or new hire training, and no Human Resources to address issues with either. I'm all for taking the initiative and learning a product, but when there is no guidance nor recognition it's hard to feel like you are valued as an employee. Additionally, in my time there, I saw the Sales Management going to strip clubs with heads of corporations in attempts to woo them, and speaking derogatorily of women at client companies regularly. They fire people with abandon when sales numbers aren't where they want them to be and then continue with the same unproductive processes. It's not a culture that I would recommend to any of my friends.

Pros

The company is excellent at raising money. We have a very, very good engineering team.

Cons

Sales is a mess. Lack of process, poor leadership and constant changing strategy makes us feel like we're losing our minds. It's very demoralizing. Many people here try hard, though. Try to sound less Irish -- it makes us seem like a small company to North American customers. I’m not sure if I’m going to stay here. There are startups that have clear focus, a great story and innovative products. I’m not sure we have any of those.
