It's just a bodyshop, don't waste your time
Pros
The team is generally great. Occasionally there is a fun social activity.
Cons
It's just a body shop. They will tell you all about the fun projects you get to do, show you around the office and talk about career progression. Do you think any of it is true? The majority of staff are just sent offsite to a big corporate where symplicit make a nice healthy profit on the already low salary you're getting. Pay rise you ask? That's a no. If half of the staff knew how much profit the company made outsourcing them, they would leave immediately. In fact, for the last 3-5 year's, that's exactly what people have continually done. Forced fun Sales guys couldn't care less about your career and will sell you to a client before even speaking to you. Not genuine for the most part. Need to get those commissions! As soon as a staff member tries to leave the CEO from the parent company starts sending restraint of trade letters threatening legal action. You build better relationships with the companies you're outsourced to. If you don't agree to the latest payrise they make you go speak to Danny the CEO of the parent company. Never mind your own director, manager, or the managing director of Symplicit. They make you front up to a meeting with the CEO to explain why you want more money. The intimidation tactics of this little man are pathetic.
