      New MD (an American) has no idea about flavour industry but appointed as MD-Australia due to political and racist reasons. (Has president- Donald Trump's modus operandi- hate coloured employees and marginalised disadvantaged employees). Run the business as a dictator even though he has no idea how to run a flavour business. customers are turning back to Symrise due to this reason. talented employees were taken out so this MD can run the business as he wishes which is detrimental to the Symrise business in Australia. This MD is on work visa to Australia and will do anything to secure his working visa sponsorship from Symrise to stay in Australia. it is pathetic to see that Symrise APAC president is the main culprit.

      Pros

      Management really cares about team and org is really people focused. Business is growing and good opportunities to cross train and learn other roles. Lots of focus on safety and work life balance. Good balance of work and fun.

      Cons

      Supply chain is complicated as many products are complex. Business runs lean which means you get to wear a lot of hats but there’s more work than people to do it! Office could use a bit of a refresh. IT systems are slow and some out of date.
