Great place to be if you're interested in finance
Pros
Opportunity to wear multiple hats as a dev, work across the tech stack, and work with many different teams. Awesome people that you'll have a chance to get to know well & learn from, even cross teams / departments. Great culture & camaraderie. Flexible hours (within reason) & ability to WFH. Invaluable experience as a developer as you get exposure to front-end, back-end, and the business decisions that are made. SalesPage has made big moves & grown wildly in the years I was there. Good benefits - 401k matching, SalesPage pays for employees' Healthcare premiums, HSA options. Ability to grow into leadership roles, though you'll have to prove yourself first. If finance excites you, this is a fantastic place to work and I would wholeheartedly recommend it!
Cons
Low base salary for developers / software engineers, comparatively. Domain knowledge will trump technical knowledge as SalesPage provides complete & partial solutions for financial clients in a highly complex & ever-changing domain that isn't particularly easy to learn. Legacy codebase / tech stack; a LOT of technology is built in-house and skills learned here may not transfer elsewhere (though, this may not be the case in a few years from now). Documentation is a bit lacking. Somewhat rough onboarding for devs. Since much of the tech is built in-house, questions you may have aren't easily google-able. Expect to really dig into things to figure them out and leaning on your colleagues if you find yourself stuck. Cannot recommend if you are not interested in finance.
