I have been working at Syracuse University full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Working with students is fabulous - depending on the college/school. Services have not been uniform across the university, though the new structure of Career Services aims to provide equal services to all students. Center Campus has been downsized in scope and staff size, and now operate as an event planning, IT support, and assessment.

    Cons

Leadership fails to understand the unique aspects of each school/college and attempts to operate each unit using the business school model. Her staff follow her lead and consequently alienate those they seek to call teammates. This has improved slightly since 2018.
