Pros

Smart and talented team with technically sound engineers. Exposure to large-scale infrastructure and modern tooling. You’ll learn a lot if you’re self-motivated and proactive.

Cons

Heavy emphasis on “initiatives” outside of core responsibilities, often expected to be done outside of standard work hours with no formal recognition or compensation. Managerial pressure to constantly “go above and beyond” is sold as a leadership grooming strategy, but often feels more like free labor. No clear path or support structure for career growth—just verbal encouragement to “act like a leader.” Work-life balance is poor for those not willing to push back; burnout risk is real. Limited appreciation or mental reward for doing what’s expected unless it’s wrapped in self-driven extra effort.
