Pros

Its pretty quiet, so the stress is low.

Cons

They are only a money making company, with no actual goals or desire to be competitive in anyway. This is your warning, this is barely a company. Benefits are expensive and suck, they ask for feedback but never ever use it, and they are profiting off of other company's brands. Also Hr and the rest of upper management are friends, so be careful about any HR complaints.

The ability to fry different teas and talk about what you love Staff discount and staff drinks on shift

The tea quality is actually pretty decent

Cons

Upper management does not know anything about running the business. Corners cut everywhere including the store set up, everything is done as cheap as possibly and low quality. No actual training programs in place. Open to close working alone. Low wages. Upper management does not listen to feedback and doesn’t like being compared to “David’s tea”when they only hired previous DT managers. No health inspections. Had to ask for health and safety protocols after being open for over 9 months. Overall it’s just a hot mess if a company. I had no professional growth in my almost year working there. Any successes were my own, I learned nothing from working here. They do not build any good relationships in the malls they are in. They have not purchased anything “commercial” grade for their stores and do not know how to properly clean and sanitize for a food service. Communication is awful, they will flat out not reply to your emails and it takes a while for things to be actioned. They blame a lot of problems on Covid even though lots of their problems are not related at all to the pandemic. I do not recommend working here. They are unorganized and have messed up pay on multiple occasions, and even failed to submit a ROE for an employee months after they left the company.
