Worst Contractor I've Ever Worked For
Pros
Decent Salary Decent Managers (for the contract at least: actual T-Rex leadership have little to no idea about what goes on at the job, and aren't interested in coming through for the team) Full-time Remote Work
Cons
When our team's contract was suddenly terminated by the group we were working for, T-Rex pulled us into a Teams call with no title or heads up about what was about to happen. Then they told us to turn on our cameras, right before they announced we were being laid off in two weeks! It felt like they wanted to see us cry over the news. They went on and on about how we were "family," and that they'd do whatever they could to do right by us. But does family steal (that's right, STEAL) your PTO by not paying you out after you're laid off? Does family claim they'll make every effort to get you a new position within the company before you're terminated, only to never respond after you send them your resume? Does family pull you into an emergency meeting after you ask questions about being laid off, demanding to know the names of everyone asking questions like you've committed some cardinal sin asking about the reasons why they're not paying out your PTO, or why they haven't found a position for you yet? We've worked for several contractors over the years that found one way or another to take advantage of you. But we've never seen a company do it as brazenly as T-Rex Solutions. They should be avoided at all costs.
