Pros

_This is a mid-size firm where each person is an in-house specialist/guru on a certain subject, so it would be a great place to start your career. _The workload will ensure that you're exposed to all facets of a project. _Work environment is convivial, people are friendly and humorous, and also always ready to mentor you. _No dull moments. Well, maybe a few. But everyone is idiosyncratic in the positive sense of the word and keeps a good chemistry. _If you're good at something, it won't go unnoticed. The management will recognize it and make sure to make it an advantage.

Cons

_Project management can be unforgiving when a mid-size team likes to tackle big scale, multi-million dollar projects. Prepare for some overnight hauls every 3 months or so. _Not the firm's fault, but the nature of what the firm specializes in: K-12, civic, and public work. Overtime the budget cut will emerge, and you will see your cool design stripped down one cor 10 layer after another etched concrete. _Design language is utilitarian, straightforward, no non-sense, so it could be repetitive sometimes.
