Very toxic culture, not inviting of advice or feedback. Bossy and bullying behaviors from the leaders. Their behaviors do not match what they say. Even though most of the leaders have some level of education and/or license in the mental health field, they refuse to treat their staff with integrity and dignity to the point where I could not even imagine many of the leaders trying to provide therapy. They are so disconnected from staff as humans and treat them as machines. The community health care system in general is challenging and overworked and this company is a prime example of why. They push groups, because groups make more money. The push burnout on the underpaid therapist so that they can make high 6 figures (in the non-profit world). We are therapist- we are hired to help clients advocate for themselves and take care of themselves yet threatened when we do the same for ourselves.

I leave every day knowing I am not appreciated. The productivity expectations are not met with appropriate compensation.
