Where should I began. First of all, I have never witnessed an organization so combative when it comes to taking care of their employees and treating them fairly. I also have not witnessed a more incompetent management team. SAR’s are the read-headed step children of this organization. Pay is not competitive and the benefits are expensive; you will be underpaid and overworked. Pay raises are insulting. Attendance policy is unrealistic. I was told there was tuition assistance but that only applies towards an Associates degree-mind you THK requires a Bachelors degree to work here. Removal of basic items; apparently pink Post It’s are considered a luxury and eating utensils for the break room cost too much; you’re now forced to provide your own. Since my start in Jan 2017, there has been so much turnover that I now have seniority in my dept. THK prides themselves on being the pioneers of linear motion but still uses the same prehistoric AS400 system, processes, and procedures. This is an account management position, not sales admin. They make this position seem like a basic customer service role but the work is a lot more demanding and high-level than they advise-there are engineering components and a multitude of math involved. Pointless meetings and reports. President/ Corporate management is not willing to adopt Western culture, there is no real training, and no room for advancement unless you happen to be favorited by upper management.

Nepotism, and atmosphere of encouraged philandering despite policies against both practices(willing participants are protected and often promoted to easier light duty positions at higher pay). Aside from that, being a perpetually pregnant "single" mom is the only other way to advance at their Hebron, OH facility. Dangerous work environment, place is riddled with poorly trained inept temp-workers(and even most real employees don't know how to do their jobs). If you do actually work hard and know what you're doing, they reward you by low raises which don't even account for inflation and a health plan which your wages are so low that you can never afford to actually use it; each year of service to this company you will fall deeper into poverty(unless you got in via nepotism or you are philandering with the right people).
