Pros

The bonuses are decent. But the pay is very low with a high turnover rate.

Cons

Two of the owners are convicted felons. They make salaried employees punch a time clock, but do not pay overtime or offer any compensation time. If you dare complain, they punish you. Lots of gossip and backstabbing by the owners who granted favors to their friends and played favorites. It was more like 4th grade than any business I've been around. We were required to work during hurricanes and blizzards. People who did not show up were charged vacation time. This is a very small time operation run by very small minded, nasty and ungrateful people.

Pros

Competitive salary, decent benefits. If you stay around long enough, there is a profit sharing plan.

Cons

Here are a couple anecdotal stories from long time (10+ year employees) that I have spoken with... I was speaking to someone about using the suggestion box. She got a very serious look on her face, lowered her voice and said that in the past people had been tracked down and counseled about some of the suggestions left in the supposedly anonymous box. In speaking with another employee, I found out that things used to be very different. People used to be empowered and trusted to get their jobs done. This has not been the case since I have been there. Every detail has to be scrutinized by upper management to the nth degree. This slows every decision down to a glacial pace. Retention is a problem. If you consider interviewing here, dig into this yourself and ask some hard questions. Unless you love revolving doors, you won't like the answers.

Pros

Some good, friendly people work there.

Cons

Managers cannot do anything without approval from the owners, especially for the people. More than once I was offered a job in another department than had it taken back because an owner would not approve. The owners have favorite employees who get all of the opportunities and everyone else is trapped in their position for ever. If the owners don’t like you, you will never gain new experience or advance your career. All of the good managers left the company last year in 2015, so I left too.
