Pros

People don't really care wether you are a bad employee or not, so you can be doing nothing for many years to come! welcome to the mediocre nation!

Cons

Management is mean with their employees, and since everything has to be approve by Aldo, nothing gets done the right way, you are forced to do things the mediocre way. You will be bullied and you will not be compensated accordingly.

Thanks for your review and feedback. It is helpful to look at issues we've had and see how we have improved. Since this review was written, TLN Media Group (TMG) became an independent broadcaster (not under Corus). We moved to a new, bright, open concept office with snacks, espresso, foosball table, and more! And the leadership team is more engaged and open to new ideas and initiatives than ever before. TMG values inclusion, respect, and diversity--we're proud of the people we have at TMG and the amazing work that they do together.

Pros

Some of your co workers are nice people

Cons

Everything is already been said in the past reviews. They will want to pay you nothing for your work, expect that you work for free in their events, they will not pay you any extra hours, upper management will make you feel like you are nothing by saying so and by not taking your input as valid EVERYTHING has to be approved by the president, even if he doesn't have idea on what he's deciding . I agree with what somebody already said, take the job if you have no other option. but leave sooner than later. that 5 star review must be someone doing damage control no doubt.

We appreciate these reviews because they help us identify areas of improvement. While we can't comment on specific claims, we can report that we have tools to track hours worked--including hours worked at events. Our leadership is engaged and supports teams in order to help everyone succeed. Since this review was made, work and approval flows have been streamlined and company-wide OKRs established. Employees are encouraged to be entrepreneurial and take ownership of projects while we provide them with the support and tools to enable success. TMG has also become an independent media company and moved to a beautiful new head office since this review was written.

Thanks for posting your review and providing feedback. Since this review was posted, TLN Media Group (TMG) moved to a new, bright, open-concept office close to Yorkdale. We launched a new streaming platform, VivaTV, expanded our event and sponsorship presence, and introduced a number of other new initiatives. We couldn't have done this without the ideas and support of our amazing teams. TMG encourages its teams to explore new ideas, supports the execution, and rewards great work with its monthly MVP program.
