Pros

Great place for professionals wanting to work in the technology field. There is a "family like" atmosphere, that encourages teamwork and compatibility which carries through to our clients.

Pros

Working at TLS.NET has offered lots of opportunities to learn new skills and technologies. Employees are treated with respect and have close relationships with management. Work is fairly independent and employees have a decent amount of independence. There are lots of company events and chances to get to know your coworkers. Management is open to ideas and employees are treated with respect. Departmental teams have a strong sense of comradery. Hard work is recognized and correction is given kindly.

Cons

Employee benefits are not great (not terrible but could be better). Vacation time has a clear formula for growth but is less than my previous jobs. There is also no sick time so if you get sick it eats up vacation time. There is not a clear path for job/salary growth. When looking at a long term career it would be nice to have an idea of how growth is achieved.

Pros

The only pro for working at TLS.NET is the ability to learn new things while on the job. It gives good insight on the technologies that go into running an ISP and web development. This being said, you can learn new things at almost any job.

Cons

Upper management of the company does not seem to care about the well being of its workers. Unrealistic expectations are placed on individuals, and they are subsequently reprimanded for being unable to live up to said expectations. It seems as though management wants workers to fail at their job. Also, these unrealistic expectations are compensated with a meager salary, which is not at all competitive within the job market. When these concerns are brought up to management, they always promise changes to the work environment, but nothing ever comes of the promise; concerns are not taken seriously. If this trend continues, I feel that TLS.NET as a company will cease to exist.
