Pros

Not too strict on the KPIs. Work life balance is not bad. Can get decent amount of money if you work with the right clients (cannot choose them though).

Cons

Very tense atmosphere. Manager has very little idea about what recruitment entails. They tend to lie on commission payment (make sure that everything is spelt out in your contract!). The senior consultants tend to get the bulk of the money by monopolizing all the "juicy" clients. Candidate and client ownership system which discourages many consultants. Very high turnover. Virtually no team spirit, every man for himself. Very low quality training.

Pros

Company specialises in technology, too many clients and candidates to mention. Structured recruitment and sales training program in place. Management were committed to my training and development, management are all hands-on. Expect to advance your career as fast as you can handle; you can request accounts to develop and grow or you can focus purely on dedicated jobs for key accounts.

Cons

Long hours -- this is not a 9-5 job -- don't expect to leave the office before 7PM each night. Most candidates will want to meet after work for consultations, information will need to be processed.
