Crazy bosses, Servers, host, bus, bartend, it is one of the hardest serving jobs I have ever had, yet we gave half our tips to the kitchen who constantly had a bad attitude, with the exception of Adan and Moonga, they are amazing people s. Won't hire bartenders because they are like "drug dealers". Watched 10 people walk out during shifts, yet I was fired after giving 30 day notice. Condisending, rude, neurotic terrible ownership. Fired me on my way to work over personal issues, not performance, then they ghosted me and I had to get police involved to get a letter of termination. Ownership looked at employees as basically slaves with no souls. I had zero bartending experience and my first manager got in trouble for having me come in an hour early for alcohol training, at my request. I was judged by looks and not performance. I promised never to walk out if they promised to not cut hours if I gave notice. Gave 30 day notice, they started cutting hours, citing my notice as part of reason, co-workers felt bad and gave me shifts, which upset ownership and they fired me in the most inhumane and unprofessional manor. 10 days before rent was due, while I was on a train coming to work, and the owner refused to let me speak to my manager and they acted like children. Which makes sense the owner didn't earn anything, had that whole place given to him and he should not even be in the industry. He tried giving unsolicited financial advice, crossed the line of employee/employer relationship egregiously and one of the owners is a blatant racist and treated colored employees like slaves.
