Spent 14 years working for Tree's, it used to be a fair company, if you worked hard you could advance. Now it's al about profit and safety is on the bottom . The advancement in this company is now about being a yes man.If you disagree, you will be black balled from organization which is owned by Asplundh .If you complain about the safety, they will do everything they can to get you to quit. If you don't quit they may just fire you or offer you a small severance to leave .Management doesn't believe anything is wrong with this even to point of not providing the basic safety gear,vest,glasses etc. Management spends more on entertainment for themselves than safety gear for employees.The more they profit ,bigger the management bonus. Field employees get no kind of bonus unless you are union and is in your contract.
In all fairness some regions in the organization is great, I have worked with some great people there a d over the past two years have seen a lot of long term, very experienced people leave because of management practices.
