Pros

- snacks - lunch every day - good office location - good people

Cons

- CEO is inexperienced and does not understand the Silicon Valley culture. He believes in the 996 work schedule written by Jack Ma (9am-9pm, 6 days a week), refuses to set goals so he doesn't need to pay those on commission or bonus, yells at employees, threatens to fire people and/ or makes excuses to fire them, demands the company drive revenue without giving us resources to achieve those goal, believes we should all be grateful we have jobs, doesn't care about US holidays. Even if Justin approves something verbally, he won't put it in writing so he can change his mind later (always a moving target). - Offering below market salaries - No stock options - Little movement for growth unless someone gets fired - High turnover - Poor moral, everyone is walking on egg shells - Takes a lifetime to get anything approved by various departments and needs to ultimately be approved by Justin. He wants control over everything

You probably don’t want to work here

Pros

So, there’s catered lunch every day plus a ton of snacks which is awesome and probably the only reason some employees last as long as they do.

Cons

Justin Sun, the CEO, is the largest con. He yells at his employees so loudly that other employees can hear it through the walls. There is constant turnover - we lost three people just this week, two the week before, and most of the people in the company picture for this page do not work here anymore. He doesn’t value his employees. He has communicated that we should just be grateful to be in the presence of a “powerful leader.” This is especially amusing since Justin is anything but a powerful leader. He’s a kid with more money than brains who cant control his emotions long enough not to scream like a woman. No employee who has quit so far has given notice - they’ve all either disappeared (meaning been fired by Justin during one of his outbursts) or they’ve been so upset by his conduct that they just leave. The positive reviews are all fake. At TRON, we used to have an anonymous system called Suggestion Ox so that employees had a way to communicate with management without fear of retaliation. Justin Sun threw a tantrum when a comment came through that he didn’t like and demanded to know who wrote it. When Suggestion Ox of course wouldn’t tell him, he had it removed. I’m thrilled there’s no such recourse available here to him :)
