Supportive team and management, but negotiate your salary
Pros
Overall, I enjoy both my role and the team I work with. Like many organizations, my experience has varied depending on management. While my experience in the early years was challenging due to leadership-related factors, it improved significantly with a change in management. Today, I am fortunate to work with a supportive manager and a highly collaborative team, which has had a very positive impact on my job satisfaction. If your role aligns with your skills and expectations, and you have a constructive working relationship with your manager, TRT can be a rewarding and enjoyable place to work.
Cons
I would recommend negotiating your compensation package carefully before joining, as salary increases may not always keep pace with inflation and are generally determined by management decisions, typically on a semi-annual basis. Employee benefits and workplace facilities can vary depending on the location and business unit. In some locations, transportation may require transfer services rather than direct routes. Meal services are available; however, employees contribute a portion of the cost through payroll deductions. Health insurance benefits may vary depending on employment status. Employees who are not directly employed under TRT’s permanent staff structure or who are not eligible through the relevant union arrangements may have more limited access to supplementary private health insurance benefits. For this reason, it is important to evaluate the overall compensation and benefits package carefully and ensure that the starting salary meets your expectations and long-term financial goals.
