Worst Company EVER!

Pros

The people there are wonderful.

Cons

They have no concept of the word "Quality". They cut corners, they lack the ability to run a company and provide a good product. They have a "fly by the seat of our pants" philosophy to running their company. They place unrealistic expectations on their employees and undervalue them (everyone is expendable, constant layoffs and cut hours). They lack communication, constantly in between HR people. I have learned how to NOT run a business while working here. I would not recommend this job to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY!

Pros

The pay is reasonable for the type of photography. The work itself is rewarding, and customers usually express their gratitude and appreciation for our attention to detail to make each image look perfect. Most co-workers are easy to work with.

Cons

Random part time hours are the best you can hope for even in the busy season. No guarentee of a set number of hours per week. No benefits. Upper management dismisses any ideas for how to make the photography better, how to increase photo sales, or how to book more shoots without even listening or discussing options if it idea comes from anyone not in the upper managment circle. Not only are lab employees restricted from speaking to Human Resources if they have an issue, but if anyone manages to get an appointment with Human Resources, they are met with audible sighing and eye rolling, followed by a complete dismissal of their concerns, and usually end up "let go" shortly there after.
