Bear in mind these statements are in regard the Nashville, TN branch. I do not have any reason to generalize them to the rest of the company.
I'll just give the facts:
In the two years I worked here, over half of the professional positions were vacant at some point; however, in this same period, not a single promotion was awarded. There was not a single instance that a position was filled internally, despite having qualified employees. I verified from management that the "policy" at this branch is to keep employees in the position they are hired. For the tech positions, I witnessed a turnover rate of about 100% over a 2-year period.
