Pros

Some very talented people, great product, learned a lot about the industry.

Cons

A lot of the positive reviews on here are fake - HR asks upper management to write positive reviews. There are many talented and great people working here but upper management is so poor you would never know it. It feels like a very sneaky/shady environment, often your work is presented by your manager. The CEO is a true brat who shows up once in a blue moon, meanwhile no final decision can be made without him. After 20 years in the business they still don't know how to manage production or their sales team. HR is absolutely unapproachable and the office in NY is absolutely disgusting. Company morale is low, they make no effort to change it and as a result there is a high turnover rate. They take serious advantage of young professionals, offering little growth and little salaries.

Horrible decision to work here

Pros

Not much work in Long Island, so if you live here, it's better than nothing. Some of the people are nice.

Cons

Upper Management is awful, unqualified and sometimes just don't care about what you have to do, only what they have to do. And they are not very approachable. Pay is poor, no room for advancement and the place is a dump. If not for the triathlon side of the business, I might k%ll my self here. The work is very unorganized with poor direction, never really know what to do as the CEO makes you feel like everything you do is wrong and he can do it better...which I see him do sometimes with projects. Makes you think, why even bother if he changes everything. He has no experience and I heard he was given the company by his parents. I also hear him say bad things about my coworkers behind their backs when he thinks no one is around. Biggest problem, nobody knows who this company is on my resume so I feel stuck working here. Gotta get out!

Very strange place to work

Pros

Some of the people are nice but most come of as fake. If you like triathlon you might be happy here. Company seems to be growing but it's hard to trust what you hear here. There seems to be very little competition in this market, seems hard to not do well with decent product.

Cons

From what I've heard and have seen a bit with my own eyes, the best people always leave and locals remain for the easy commute or whatev. Salaries are brutal but I guess that's what you get for Long Island or maybe it is the company. Heard the company relocated from California a few years ago to Long Island? Who would do that when you're in this industry? Almost every job I've searched for in similar industries, I love to swim, are out west where they belong. The company's persona still acts as if it's in california when it's only a warehouse out there. Very poor leadership across sales and the so-called "marketing" department, that doesn't seem to do any real marketing, and it seems like the execs have no time for anyone like they're curing cancer. You guys sell swimsuits, get over yourselves and act like you care about your employees, please. This place seems more like a stepping stone to a company that can offer a real career.
