Pros

Initially was a decent product that recently loss all patent protection and will now be subject to increased competition.

Cons

I'm currently a product specialist and waiting to find a better position in med device sales so I can jump ship. I initially hoped this would be a great career move but the company is run terribly and that means that as a sales professional you're doing the job of three people chasing up paperwork every month, going into patients homes (I often feel unsafe doing this), selling to individual dr's, selling to individual patients once you get the individual dr on board and then you are required to be a patient point of contact for every patient you have sold to during your time at the company. This leads to poor work-life balance (12 hr days and weekends), and a poor commission structure given the amount of work. Please be wary also that every time a negative review is posted on this site a few positive reviews that are always similar are immediately posted afterwards. Tactile is trying to cover their terrible company image. Turnover is insane at this company and every good rep leaves as soon as they can.

Pros

Great pay for an associate position. Company Trips. Competitive atmosphere. Invest a lot into employees as far as training courses. the CEO is awesome and doesn't hide any information.

Cons

Upper Management is pretty harsh. Very aggressive numbers. No work/life balance. Leave home around 7:00am and return well after 8pm at times. Lots of traveling. 65,000 miles put on my vehicle in a year. Achieving 3 different quota's are pretty tough. 120% growth every month was frowned upon.

Pros

-Best product on the market -No longer get in trouble if you don’t hit quota because nobody hits and all managers are leaving anyways

Cons

How many characters do I get? If there was an option to put “soon to be former employee” I would have. This company used to be great. But new leadership is either prepping to sell or got hired by short sale investors. All new management are brought in from VP previous company. If you do well they reward you by hiking up your quota so you can no longer hit and make less money. They don’t care about any suggestions from the field. Clinics are noticing themselves how bad we are because home office doesn’t call patients or clinics back. Reimbursement gets worse every day on the products. If you don’t think this company is bad you are likely new and not used to making decent money in this industry. We are overworked and now underpaid. If you are looking to get into this company I would highly recommend turning around and running. Any reviews more than 4 months back are irrelevant. Every person you speak to working here is interviewing elsewhere. If you want your foot in the door this could be a good one year venture. We now hire completely unqualified candidates that should not be in this field or in some cases sales in general. It is embarrassing being part of this organization. Good luck and good riddance.
