      Good place to start, not ideal to develop afterwards

      Pros

      - fun colleagues, especially if you visit the headquarters instead of WFH - good technology stack (Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres) - MacBook provided - good salaries

      Cons

      - aggressive high level management - overall poor code quality - both the current codebase, and mechanisms in place for new feature development - poor work/life balance. Lots of unpaid overtime - little care for employees - few-to-none social events - no other incentives besides the salary - no meal tickets, no health insurance, very little stock options, no bonuses, barely any recognition. - no technical QA department.

      - Work remotely - Great for interns where they can start to pick-up skills like Ruby on Rails - Above average pay for junior engineers - They provide the necessary hardware

      Cons

      - Modest pay for more experienced engineers - Workload can overlap personal time often and not being compensated for overtime - Lack of communication in certain situations - Poor code reviews resulting in bad code for lower priority projects (especially in the case of junior engineers)
