Pros

Working from home Early finish Friday

Cons

In the interview I was told the position was a sales role, its not, its just nine hours of soul destroying cold calling. All the while constantly getting called out for unachievable call times. Commission model is terrible. Take Payments constantly talk about their core values for example grit, rewards truthful, happiness extra, these are empty platitudes that the company does not embody. Huge staff turnover. This is something the management preach just to help them sleep at night. Been lied to from the beginning from start to finish. If you have the opportunity for Payment Executive do your self a favour and decline. You get a 7 min break on a Friday for nearly a full shift. Terrible. Unfair lead allocation very clicky.

Pros

Absolutely no pros at all

Cons

All the bad reviews that you see here are all true. I was never looking for a new job, was happy, comfortable and earning good money in my previous role. Was approached by Takepayments and was sold a dream job, with life changing pay so of course you’re going to take it, I did and now it has left me in financial crisis. Being able to afford groceries is a struggle for me now let alone my mortgage and other bills that need paying. I reached out to my manager and told him that the pay isn’t as was promised and was struggling financially, a week later I was dismissed… to make it worse the company kept back £500 from my pay for the equipment which is to be sent back once you have sent the equipment back. I sent mine back and 6 weeks later after a constant battle with HR and advising them I’m receiving interest rates for not paying bills, they finally sent it back!! I also reached out to my manager when another gentleman in my group was coming onto me outside of work and I wasn’t appreciative of it, nothing was done other than speak to that person. Which then made said person threaten me which my manager did nothing. Avoid this company at all costs. You are just a number in the system. It is ALL cold calling! My training company was a group of 17 and probably only 5 or so left, all in which are also leaving soon! There are training groups every month which goes to show… the staff turnover is ridiculous! The company should definitely be called Take payments from employees The job itself is just constant cold calling! Longer serving staff all favoured, new employees treated like pheasants.
