Pros

Fast and nimble, do a lot with a little, lots of responsibility

Cons

At times feel spread thin from the challenge of being at an early stage startup. Both exciting and daunting.

Pros

Communication was fine until I finished the FREE test on the concrete project from their portfolio. I never heard from them again.

Cons

DO NOT DO FREE TESTS FOR THIS COMPANY. We have portfolios.

Nice ideal, but no money.

Pros

The staff, or at least my point-of-contact was really nice. The company supplies all the artwork, characters, music, and sound. Their Discord is alive and well. A lot of great stories on their app. Writers get total freedom to write their story as they want when it is accepted during the pitch process. The monthly writing contest is a wonderful idea. The Tales software is easy to learn and use.

Cons

For my book, I never once received any pay for a story that was apparently getting a decent amount of views. When I asked about this, I get the runaround. When I requested data on my book to see how it was doing, I was told it would be on the website but those features aren't working or haven't been made. As a result, writers never know how their story is doing to make improvements. It over a year for my requested artwork to be made. As a result, my story has images that don't come close to fitting the time period of my story. There is no motivation for writers to finish their books. Lack of money, lack of support, and lack of feedback don't help. My cover was really lazy and didn't fit my story at all. No one changed it when it was requested. Although, most of the covers on their app are nice. There are too many stories on the Tales app that it is impossible for anyone's games to stand out and get noticed.
