Working there will make you hate your life

Pros

They'll tell you that company trips to "exotic" places around the world are a benefit - but they have been described by employees "lucky" enough to be chosen as punishment rather than rewards.

Cons

Highly toxic work environment. Know up front that it is an MLM company with a video email and video meeting product that no one wants... better, more well-known products are available for free. The office is full of constant drama. Very little praise ever given... management prefers to assign public blame rather than solve problems. The owner, a former sheriff's deputy who talks about that all the time, has little respect for people working for him... either at the office or the associates who sell the company's products. He constantly changes his mind on huge projects, blaming the employees for his choices and not reading his mind. It's only a matter of time before he is publicly spotlighted by the #MeToo movement... there are more women than men in the office because the owner finds it easier to intimidate them. Many times women in the office were made to cry. Employees are expected to literally applaud and cheer when watching marketing videos or when the owner makes an announcement... if you don't, the entire office will often have their jobs threatened for "lack of enthusiasm" - regardless what job function you have there. Full-time employees are expected to volunteer to work more than 40 hours per week without extra pay or be humiliated in front of the entire office for their lack of company spirit. Warning - the company loves to bring in trial employees from job agencies but - despite getting along well with fellow employees and even getting praise for your work - you can be dropped at a whim with no review or notice days before you complete your trial period and become full time. There was overwhelming romantic drama in the office between members of management and the owner - that resulted in yelling, doors slamming, public shaming, and more. It's a small office, so there is literally no opportunity for career growth. Turnover is incredibly high, morale is incredibly low... when the owner comes in, employees basically cower, hoping he's not in a "bad mood." When negative reviews appear on Glassdoor, the owner will threaten to sue the site to find out who posted the review and then insist that current employees write favorable reviews to offset them. Please pay attention to the reviews on this site before working there. Former employees say they are much much much happier after they left.

Awful, Oppressive Atmoshphere

Pros

Your coworkers there are, generally, very nice and down-to-earth people. Incredibly productive office with opportunity to grow.

Cons

Abysmal management. This was some of the hardest, most drama-ridden, stressful managers I ever worked for. Mood swings from day to day, constant chastisement to do better, even when you're slaving away on multiple projects for 40+ hours a week.

Pros

They pay you on time.

Cons

I would rather starve to death than to ever work at Talk Fusion again. Because if you work there, you're going to wish you were dead! If you're a masochist who enjoys almost daily verbal abuse, work at Talk Fusion. If you enjoy being scolded over faux crises that don't even matter, you should work there. And don't even think about being late or leaving early, unless you like being humiliated in front of your coworkers and made an example of. Work-life balance? Kiss that goodbye! And don't even try calling in sick. You literally have to show up to work ill and physically prove to them you are sick to be allowed to take the day off and avoid being verbally annihilated for calling in sick. By the way: must love dogs! Really, dogs matter more than people at Talk Fusion, and if you want to keep your job you better show them you love dogs, or else! Pay no attention to the positive reviews. They're forcefully written by employees to counter the negative ones aka the real ones. How this company is still in business with all the abuse that happens behind the scenes is a miracle of ... something!
