Pros

The company might seem like a great opportunity, but management is feeding people lies and pulling them in with empty promises. You are just signing up to be exploited and used, and unless that sounds appealing to you, staying far away would be in your best in interest.

Cons

TalkingPoints is a miserable company to work for, especially if you are trying to grow your career. The company almost never gives raises or promotions to employee; you could waste years there, consistently perform at a high level, and still never see a single meaningful change in your salary.

Pros

The overall mission behind the company is meaningful.

Cons

On paper, everything sounds structured and impactful, but in practice, the day-to-day felt a lot more disorganized than expected, because processes weren't always clearly defined, so you'd end up figuring things out as you go... which might work once, but when it keeps happening, it becomes frustrating. Tasks would shift, priorities would change, and sometimes you'd realize midway that something needed to be handled differently, which leads to rework. It wasn't just occasional—it felt like a pattern. And that makes it hard to stay focused when you're constantly adjusting instead of moving forward.

Pros

They pay for almost all of your benefits and unlimited PTO

Cons

This place is run like a Sea you El Tee. If you go against anyting the CEO says you are pushed out so quickly. They recently laid off some great people due them not being a culture fit, key word for you spoke up against strategy and vision that differed from the ceo so you gotta leave. They had some great people come in from huge companies that know strategy and one only stayed for about 6 months due to how toxic the leader is. If private funders did more resrearch into the cutlure they probably wouldnt donate, they opperate as a non profit to stay under the radar or toxic work places. Everyone at the top is a yes person to the CEO includeing the president she is a yes lady, she asked everyone to go on review sites and prop up the image from a few bad reviews as she said so.
